Inaugural Singapore Game Fest at Suntec Convention Centre, Championing Women in Gaming and Southeast Asian Esports Talent
SINGAPORE, [22 May 2026] – The inaugural Singapore Game Fest (SGF) will make its debut at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre from [29th May – 31st May], bringing together gaming, esports, technology, and youth culture in a large-scale festival celebrating the next generation of digital entertainment.
Organised by C2E4 and held in collaboration with COMEX IT Group, Singapore Game Fest aims to create a vibrant platform where competitive gaming, community engagement, education, and industry development converge.
Supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, SGF 2026 will feature regional esports competitions, educational workshops, community showcases, and interactive experiences — with a strong spotlight on women in gaming and Southeast Asian esports talent.
“We are pleased to support the inaugural Singapore Game Fest, which brings together esports and gaming over three days. The festival’s celebration of regional talent and diverse programming reflects the multifaceted events that Singapore has to offer, and we look forward to welcoming visitors and locals alike to be part of this engaging event.”
– Lilian Chee, Director, Sports, Singapore Tourism Board
“COMEX IT Group’s continued collaboration with C2E4 for Singapore Game Fest marks an exciting expansion – as technology continues to shape how people connect, play, and experience entertainment, this partnership creates a dynamic platform where visitors can discover the latest innovations while experiencing first-hand how technology powers the future of gaming and digital lifestyles. We are also proud to support initiatives like the Cyberathlete Women’s Invitational, which spotlight and empower female talent within Southeast Asia.”
– Genevieve Rodrigues, Director, Comex IT Group
Championing Women in Gaming Through the Cyberathlete Women’s Invitational
A major highlight of Singapore Game Fest 2026 is the Cyberathlete Women’s Invitational (CWI) and the Cyberathlete Championship Cup (CCC) — initiatives focused on elevating women within the esports ecosystem while strengthening grassroots and community competition pathways.
The tournaments will bring together top female esports athletes from across Southeast Asia to compete in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) and Teamfight Tactics (TFT), showcasing elite talent and strengthening representation within competitive gaming.
Featured competitors include invited SEA Nations Cup TFT female champion, global top TFT pro player – Y1B1, alongside top players from Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia, making Singapore Game Fest a regional gathering point for women-led esports competition and community building.
By spotlighting women gamers, creators, and esports professionals, SGF seeks to inspire more young women to explore opportunities within gaming, esports, broadcasting, content creation, and digital media.
”Singapore Game Fest is designed to bring together every part of today’s gaming culture — from esports and community tournaments to trading card games and creators. Whether through CWI, CCC, or exciting TCG tournament experiences like Riftbound, our goal is to build a stronger and more inclusive gaming ecosystem for Southeast Asia.”
— Frank Yong, Managing Director, C2E4
Behind the Scenes with Paper Rex
Singapore Game Fest 2026 will also feature the Paper Rex Workshop Series, led by one of Southeast Asia’s most internationally recognised esports organisations.
Designed as an educational and industry-facing initiative, the sessions will provide attendees with an inside look into how a modern Tier-1 esports organisation operates — from competitive team management and player development to branding, content strategy, fan engagement, and business operations.
The collaboration reflects a growing demand among young gamers and students to better understand the professional ecosystem surrounding esports beyond just gameplay, exposing attendees to real-world insights from one of the region’s most successful esports brands.
Hosted within the Level 3 CCC and BYOD ecosystem, the workshops are integrated directly into SGF’s competitive grassroots environment — allowing aspiring players and fans to engage with professional esports culture while participating in Riot-supported community competition across VALORANT, League of Legends, and Teamfight Tactics.
Women’s Esports Development Workshop by Team Sindicate
Continuing the festival’s emphasis on inclusivity and talent development, SGF 2026 will also host a dedicated women’s esports workshop led by local esports organisation Team Sindicate. The workshop aims to provide aspiring players and community members with opportunities for mentorship, skill development, and deeper engagement within the competitive gaming space.
In line with this theme, SGF 2026 will also feature the Creators Cosplay Fest — a cosplay showcase and competition that pays homage to iconic female characters across anime, comics, games, and pop culture. The event celebrates creativity, self-expression, and character reinterpretation, while shining a spotlight on the influence and representation of women within ACG culture and the wider gaming community.
Designed to support aspiring female players and community leaders, the workshop will focus on competitive development, teamwork, confidence-building, and navigating opportunities within the gaming and esports industry.
Together, these initiatives reinforce Singapore Game Fest’s mission to create a more inclusive and accessible gaming ecosystem for future generations.
Riot-Backed Multi-Title Grassroots Competitive Ecosystem
A major pillar of Singapore Game Fest 2026 is the Cyberathlete Community Cup (CCC) and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) LAN experience — a large-scale grassroots competitive ecosystem built around Riot Games titles including VALORANT, League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics and the latest Trading Card Game – Riftbound.
SGF 2026 is one of the only Riot-supported community events in Southeast Asia operating across all four major Riot esports titles simultaneously — creating a rare multi-title competitive environment that bridges casual community participation with structured esports pathways.
Hosted under the revived Cyberathlete banner — a historic esports brand that traces its roots back to the early competitive LAN era — the CCC and BYOD ecosystem is designed to recreate the social, high-intensity LAN culture that shaped competitive gaming globally, while modernising it for today’s generation of players and creators.
Across both formats, SGF expects over 1,000 highly engaged grassroots competitors and players, making it one of the largest concentrated gatherings of community competitive gamers in Singapore.
A New Festival for Gaming, Esports, and Youth Culture
Beyond esports competition, Singapore Game Fest 2026 will feature:
- Original Comic Art Exhibition
- Gaming and community activations
- Cosplay, Creator and youth showcases
- Interactive technology experiences
- Trading card and collectibles communities
- Stage activities and entertainment
- Campus and grassroots esports initiatives
Held alongside COMEX IT Group, the festival creates a unique space where technology, gaming, education, and youth culture come together — strengthening Singapore’s position as a regional hub for digital entertainment and community-driven experiences.
