Bring your own device
Ultimate Gaming Tournament with cyberathlete BYOD
Cyberathlete began in Dallas, USA in 1997 as a grassroots Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) LAN party. What started as small community gatherings quickly evolved into the world’s first professional esports league — the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL) — laying the foundation for organized competitive gaming worldwide. In 2025, the Cyberathlete and CPL intellectual property was acquired by C2E4 Pte Ltd.
After decades of shaping the esports landscape, Cyberathlete returns in 2026 with a renewed mission: championing community, inclusivity, and diversity in competitive
gaming. As part of this vision, the Cyberathlete Women’s Invitational (CWI), the Cyberathlete Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) LAN Party, and the Cyberathlete Community Cup (CCC) will headline SG GAME Fest in Singapore.
Through initiatives like CWI, BYOD, and CCC, Cyberathlete continues its legacy of building a welcoming competitive ecosystem — one that celebrates talent, fosters community, and
expands opportunities across the global esports stage.
- Team Support: Assistance in forming teams for those who need it.
- Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded players and fellow competitors.
- Community Building: Foster friendships and strong bonds through shared experiences and gameplay.
Our goal is to empower women in gaming, celebrate their talent, and create a thriving, inclusive esports community.
